Overview

Your role involves keeping Starling Resource Group, Inc. up to date on all of our social media platforms. You work load will consist of updating of accounts with photos, stories & other content. This position also requires you to attend events and make connections online and face-to-face with everyone (fans, execs, etc). You will also work closely with the editorial and managerial staff. You will be expected to learn quickly and adapt your already flavored skills in projects. This position has the possiblity of becoming a paid full-time/ part-time position.

Knowledge & Qualifications

High School Diploma
No experience required... just the will to learn and push your skills.
Good interviewing skills
You will learn to write content for all of our products & within the parameters of journalistic integrity
Be able to grasp knowledge of all sectors of the community: business, politics, sports, entertainment, etc.
Must have a solid work ethic
Must be punctual
Must be friendly & personable with a good attitude
Must be familiar with social media trends
Must be familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Myspace API's & platforms
Must have reliable transportaion
Must be able to go on assignments with short notice (possible weekends)
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to present and explain technical and business information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel
